What do you do with an idea?

Think about it. Ideas are all around. You can look back in history and see that someone decided that the horse and buggy wasn’t good enough, and they invented a better mousetrap – the automobile.

Transatlantic passenger ships crossing oceans were too slow, so someone invented transatlantic flights. Finally, someone reinvented the phone and created a smart phone that has revolutionized communication around the world. You may be reading this on your smart phone, and it all started with an idea.

Below I want to share with you three ideas that I’m working on right now. I hope you find them interesting.

This idea began around 2011. It all started when I purchased a small wine store as an investment and watched how customers selected and bought wine. It was a fascinating study and an invaluable experience on human behavior as I learned a great deal about the shopping habits of wine buyers. I shared this experience and the idea I had with my three daughters, and they thought it was a great idea which pleased me immensely.

I half expected them to say, “Oh Dad, that’s a crazy idea”. So I was pleasantly surprised when they all agreed it was a good idea and we should act on it. This was particularly important because not only are they my daughters but they are millennials, the next big wine-buying generation.

Three words you never want to hear in your life “You have cancer.”

That’s what happened to me on February 17, 2017, when I was diagnosed with stage four prostate cancer that had metastasized. Not the kind of thing you want to hear just four days before your 28thwedding anniversary.

After I had my little pity party, I said to myself I was given cancer for a reason and that was to help others.

So, I pondered in my mind what could I do to help others who have been diagnosed with cancer. I thought and thought about it and then by some miracle, I finally came up with the idea of Believe Oral Care company.

It’s something we all do twice or three times a day and that is brush our teeth and rinse with mouthwash. So, why give your money to some big corporation that doesn’t give a hoot about you and only wants to make money. When you can brush with Believes all-natural toothpaste and rinse with Believes all-natural mouthwash were all the profits go towards finding a better way to treat and cure cancer

That is how I came up with the idea for Believe Oral Care. It was important to me that the toothpaste and mouthwash be made in America. It would have been alot easier to have the toothpaste and mouthwash made in China or India, but I believe in America, so it was important to have our products made here in the United States.

Believe Oral Care is the only oral care company in the world that donates 100% of all profits to independent cancer research and cancer charities.

So, brush away cancer with Believe Oral Care. Your mouth, teeth, and gums will thank you, and you will also be doing good in this world in finding a better way to treat and cure cancer.

All proceeds from the sale of “Believe Oral Care Products” go towards supporting “BelieveCare,” a registered nonprofit organization committed to doing good in this world. Recognized under section 501(c)(3) of the United States Internal Revenue Code.

Believe is available on our website at believeoralcare.com and on Amazon.

The story of believe really began when I was diagnosed with stage four prostate cancer that had metastasized. A few days later after the shock of having cancer wore off, I made the decision to do something for others that are going through their own cancer journey.

The idea was simple, create an Oral Care company to make an all natural toothpaste and mouthwash. We named our new nonprofit believe.

Believe Oral Care is the only company in the world that donates 100% of profit to cancer research and cancer charities. Presently we are supporting the following cancer charities.

I am not an educated man in the traditional sense; however, I was able to create two multimillion dollar companies with sheer passion and determination. You can read more of my story here on LinkedIn. What is driving me now is to help inspire students to think outside the box.

When I first read Einstein’s quote about “Imagination is more important than knowledge,” I immediately thought, that my lack of education would not stop me, because I believed in my imagination. Also who am I to disagree with the world’s most brilliant man? Einstein and I do have one thing in common dyslexia.

So, I made a decision to write a book focusing on imagination and how it played a significant role in my life, as well as how it can be a game-changer in yours.

In “Believe In Your Imagination,” you will embark on an incredible journey thru four different countries that unveils my story of how, despite being dyslexic and lacking a formal education (I left school at 15), I was able to achieve the following:

– Discover the Art of Life, one of life’s greatest secrets.

– Built two multimillion-dollar enterprises from scratch.

– Redesigned and reimagined a self-aerating wine bottle.

– Found the key to both success and happiness in life.

– Established a groundbreaking oral care company to find a cure for cancer.

I wrote this book to inspire you, to help you believe in yourself and utilize your imagination for positive change. It is my sincere hope that it motivates you to harness the power of your imagination and to create your own dreams and successes.

There are some things that you do for love and writing this book was one of them. All the proceeds from the sale of “Believe in Your Imagination” go towards supporting “BelieveCare,” a registered nonprofit organization dedicated to making a positive impact in the world. We are officially recognized under section 501(c)(3) of the United States Internal Revenue Code.

We have been gifted with this life and given two hands, one to help others and one to support ourselves. I decided I wanted use my other hand to help others.  That is why I put together the ART OF LIFE presentation which you can see right here.

What's your big idea?

It's never too late

So many people I talk to have ideas but so few of them ever act on their ideas. Why? Here is what I think: they are afraid to take a risk. There is always an element of risk with any new ideas. Just remember there are very, very few new ideas – they all tend to be an adaption or a rethink of an existing idea. Here’s the kicker. If you fail to act on your idea and you see someone come up with the very same idea you had years earlier, how do you think that would make you feel?

The point I’m making is, if you have an idea – no matter how big or small – that you believe in, DO IT. Don’t just sit around thinking about it, DO IT.

Just one good idea can change your life forever.
WISHING YOU EVERY SUCCESS WITH YOUR IDEA(S),
